San Juan Capistrano Cultural Events, Lectures, and Groups Multicultural Arts Music Concerts at the Library - Huun Huur Tu Throat Singers Saturday, February 13 at 6:30 and 8:30 pm Enjoy the unique musical experience of Tuvan Throat Singing with Huun Huur Tu who perform two shows at the library at 6:30 and 8:30 pm. A Night at the Oscars Friday, February 26 at 7 pm Spend a night with the stars at the library's annual Oscars event! Join Robert Kline, a former senior vice president for Twentieth Century Fox, and his wife Stephanie Heredia as we take a look at clips from this year's ten Best Picture Nominees and discuss the history of the award. A Q & A session will follow. Refreshments will be served. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at the library. All proceeds support the San Juan Capistrano Library. San Juan Capistrano Storytime Pajama Storytime with the Sunshine Readers Monday, February 8** at 7 pm **Please note special date** The National Charity League Sunshine Readers offer energetic and entertaining stories for children of all ages at this family storytime. Wear your pjs and join the fun! Preschool Storytime Tuesdays at 11 am Children ages 3-6 and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, rhymes, crafts and fun. Our Winter Session begins January 5 and runs through March 9. No registration is required. Bilingual Storytime Wednesdays at 11 am Children of all ages are invited to join us for stories and crafts in Spanish and English. No registration is required. San Juan Capistrano Computer Classes Weekly Computer Training Classes Tuesdays at 8:45 am The San Juan Capistrano Library offers relaxed, individualized free computer lessons. Instruction is available on: Mouse and keyboarding practice tutorials for computer novices; creating Microsoft Word and Publisher files and storing them on USB flash drives; navigating the World Wide Web and evaluating websites; using our OCPL online databases and other resources; opening up a free e-mail account and sending attachments. You can progress through these five lessons at your own pace, or select and complete lessons specific to your needs. No registration is required, however space is limited to 6 students at a time. Classes fill up quickly, so get here early!
