San Clemente Book Discussion Groups

Adult Book Group 8:30 - 10:00 am

This month's title is Global Woman: Nannies, Maids, and Sex Workers in the New Economy by Barbara Eherenreich. The author presents a series of articles on the consequences of globalization on the lives of millions of women (now greatly outnumbering men) as they leave the poverty of Third World countries to seek employment in domestic services for the affluent First World countries. Books are available at the Library's Information Desk.

San Clemente Storytime

Holiday After School Club 3:30-4:30 pm

The After-School Club series runs on Tuesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 pm. from November 10 through December 8. Advance signup is required, & attendance is limited to 25. After-School Club is for children 5 & older. A variety of activities is provided, including stories, crafts, & seasonal activities.

Holiday Preschool Storytime 10:30 - 11:00 am

The Library offers two weekly Preschool Storytimes. The Preschool Storytime series runs on Wednesdays OR Thursdays, 10:30-11:00 am. from November 12 through December 10. Advance signup is required, & attendance is limited to 25. Storytime is for children ages 3-5.
Parents need to help with crafts on some days.
Library will be closed Wednesday, November 11th for Veteran's day.
Library will be closed Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving Holiday.

In-N-Out Food for Thought reading program ends

This is the last day to turn in your reading log and claim your certificate for a free burger at In-n-Out.

Holiday Toddlertime 10:30 - 11:00 am

The Library offers two weekly Toddlertimes. The Toddlertime series runs on Mondays OR Tuesdays, 10:30-11:00 am. The Holiday Toddlertime series runs on Mondays OR Tuesdays, 10:30-11:00 am, from November 9th through December 8th. Advance signup is required, & attendance is limited to 18. Toddlertime is for children ages 2-3 with adult participation. Toddlertime includes stories & activities to help coordination and recognition of colors, shapes, numbers, etc.
