Chinese New Year Celebration

Celebrate Chinese New Year with us! We will be welcoming the Year of the Tiger with fun crafts, exciting performances, and red envelopes. See what all the excitement is about on Sunday, February 7th, 2pm. Free! Sponsored by the Irvine Chinese School.

Chess Club

Play chess at the library! Learn techniques and sharpen your skills! We meet every Thursday, 4-5pm. Open to those ages 8 and older. No reservations required. This is an informal, drop-in environment and is sponsored by the University High Chess Club.

Valentine Craft Day

Author Event: Meet Eric Stone

Meet Eric Stone, author of Shanghaied! Eric's travels through Asia over 30 years led to the creation of his Ray Sharp mystery series. Come experience a visual presentation of the inside of Asia as photographed by journalist and novelist Eric Stone. Event begins at 7pm in the library's meeting room.

Preschool Storytime

An interactive event designed for preschoolers, ages 3-5. Sing songs, read stories, complete a craft! No registration required. Meets at 11am on Tuesday in the library's meeting room.

Toddler Storytime

An interactive event designed for toddlers, ages 3 and under. Sing songs and read stories! No registration required. Meets at 11am on Friday in the library's meeting room.
