Women of Mystery

Do you love a good mystery? October 3rd kicks off our "Women of Mystery" four part -Reading, Screening, and Discussion Program. This program is designed to showcase mystery novels written by female authors. The first part of this program is a screening of the film, "Women of Mystery" on Saturday, October 3rd from 1-3. After viewing the movie, library patrons are encouraged to check out a copy of the books and join us for three very special Saturdays when we will discuss each author and her book. Saturday, October 24th from 1-3 we will be discussing Sue Grafton's "S is for Silence". Saturday, November 14th from 1-3 we will be discussing "Fire Sale" by Sara Paretsky and Saturday, December 5th from 1-3 we wrap up the program with a discussion of "Vanishing Point" by Marcia Muller. Please contact the information desk for more details. It is free to participate in this program and copies of each book will be provided.

Card Making Workshop

Tuesday, December 8th from 6:30 - 8 pm. Adults and teens are welcome to join us and make some festive holiday cards. This event is free to attend and materials will be provided. Please contact the Information Desk for more information.

Soap Making Workshop

Tuesday, December 15th from 6:30 - 8pm. A great gift idea, just in time for the holidays! Adults and teens are invited to attend this program where they will learn to make some basic bath salts. This event is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Please contact the Information Desk for more information.

Clutter Cleaners

Start your new year off clutter free! Join us for this program presented by Clutter Cleaners and learn how to make your home and work spaces more organized and efficient. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

Book Club Meeting

The Costa Mesa Book Club meets the first Monday of the month from 6:30-8pm.

December 7th we will be discussing "The Big Sleep" by Raymond Chandler
January 4th we will be discussing an assortment of short stories by O. Henry, including his classic story "The Gift of the Magi"

Join us for a bilingual storytime with songs and stories in both English and Spanish. This storytime is at 9:30 am. Please knock at the front door!
