Aliso Viejo Cultural Events, Lectures, and Groups Performance: Clara Baker as Maya Angelou in Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm
In this two-woman show written and driected by Sunga Greisman, Sunga takes on the role of interviewer and Clara Baker plays Maya Angelou, poet, author, and activist. Baker looks so much like the former Poet Laureate that she is sometimes mistaken for her in her daily life! Come and enjoy this 40-minute performance and look into this famous author's life.

Join us each month for a new film from the Film Movement Series, a series of award winning independent and foreign films. This series selects films without widespread theatrical release and distributes them in the US. The library is proud to offer these showings at no charge. Plus, refreshments are provided; how can it get any better?
