On back of photograph: "In 1924 it was George Washington Grammar School. The principal was Steven R. Fitz. When he retired in 1938, the school was renamed the Steven R. Fitz School. After an earthquake, the school was relocated and in 1956 it became the Garden Grove City Hall."
