This book will be discussed at the library at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 3.
Do you know someone who is new to the Internet but is not sure how to navigate using a mouse or an internet browser? Do you know someone whose kids and grandkids are urging them to get an e-mail account? Does your acquantance want to “surf the web”? There are many people to whom the Internet… or even the use of a computer mouse, are complete mysteries. West Garden Grove staff offers two opportunities each week for one-on-one demonstrations to help novices learn the basics of using the Internet. Tutorials are by appointment, and are offered at
one hour before the library opens. Set an appointment at the Reference desk, and a librarian will work with you for one hour, concentrating on the basics of mouse function and the rudiments of the World Wide Web. Tutorials are free of charge. Call 897-2594 if you wish to set an appointment by phone.
